A Farm Hub, A Food Club,
A Mobile Farm Stand
Originally opened in 2019 as a local food hub, the Bootstrap Farm Club has become a much-loved and relied upon source for clean, local food. Serving the Upper Cape and surrounding communities, the Bootstrap Farm Store is open seasonally to the public, offering an amazing selection of FARM FRESH produce, pasture-raised meats and dairy, pasta, pantry, prepared foods and PIE.
Open mid-April through mid-January, our fresh, seasonal offerings, change throughout the year and are sourced through relationships with Farmers and Makers built over time. We bring local, Certified Organic, Certified Naturally Grown, Ethically Raised, Hormone and Chemical Free foods to you and your family.
We know and trust our farms,
so you can trust the food you eat.
Our Mobile Farm Stand brings a sampling of our delicious local foods to partner locations including the YMCA in Wareham, HotYoga 1620 in Plymouth, and Highfield Hall in Falmouth.
Our Membership Program offers special sales, concierge services and community connections to those who choose to join and support us through their membership.

New Beginnings
With Deep Community Roots
After eight amazing seasons, Bootstrap's Founder, Susan Sigel, will be helping the business transition to new ownership in 2026.
Chris and Kristin Bergeron, lifelong Cataumet residents, look forward to continuing The Bootstrap's journey of bringing clean local food to our community, and hope, in time, to pass the business on to their own children.
The intersection between the 2 families began in 2016, when Susan left Martha's Vineyard and bought the house where Kristen's grandparents had lived, just up the street from the store. The Bergeron's have frequented the Bootstrap over the years, and dreamt of putting their passion to work in something of their own. When Susan announced her desire to retire in January, they jumped into the process.
Chris is leaving his Managerial role at CB Stark Jewelers on Martha's Vineyard, and coming home to Cataumet, where his extensive retail experience will be vital in running and growing the store. Kristin, who has touched so many local families through her role in the Falmouth Schools, will support the business behind-the-scenes during the school year, and help out with retail in the store during the busy summer months.
Susan will be in Cataumet to help the business transition in Spring of 2026, and then will return to Lille, France, where she spent this last winter and will be making her home in retirement.
